Have you been steadily losing weight and then just short of your goal, nothing? Don\’t worry, there are answers! Many people experience this same problem in their quest for their goal weight. There are many things you can do to get back on track.

Number one, don\’t fret! Worrying will damage your spiritual health and will not speed up your weight loss at all. One easy, free thing to speed up the metabolism is to get moving! It can be as simple as briskly walking around the block. Instead of the elevator, use the stairs. Don\’t always look for the simplest way to do something. The more energy you can use the the more weight you will lose.

Feeling very motivated? Start some simple weight training. Start off with some light dumbbells. Start off with some easy shoulder presses and bicep curls. Remember that muscle will burn more than fat thereby making it easier to maintain your weight loss.

Most important is to drink enough water! To keep hydrated you should drink at least 50 ounces of water if you weigh 100 pounds, 1/2 your body\’s weight in ounces. None of the systems in the body can work properly without water. The body systems can not function properly without enough water. You should know that the body mistakes thirst for hunger quite often. Making sure to stay hydrated will prevent you from eating when you are just thirsty!

This next tip is not without cost but it is worth any cost! Cleansing on a cellular level. No one can deny the fact that our bodies are bombarded by toxins on a daily basis. These toxins and other chemicals we are exposed to can impair our bodies functions. Also eating processed foods and fatty meats can clog the body up with fats and additives that the body has no use for. Cellular cleansing can rid the body of these toxins. We can get rid of these toxins through cleansing.

The body in an attempt to protect the internal organs from these toxins produces extra fat cells to cover these toxins. The only thing this does is makes us fatter! Removing these fat cells can be done with cellular cleansing that is our experience.

Any one of these tips will help you lose weight. Drinking water is the number one item on the list for everyone even if you do not need to lose weight. Exercise is important to do at least twice a week, three times is even better. Take it slow and always consult your doctor first. When your doctor gives you the go ahead try the library for some free exercise videos.

It has been our experience that cellular cleansing can speed up weight loss.If you have any health problems or are unsure have your doctor monitor you while you cleanse. It is good to have your blood checked before you start cleansing and then six months later. I am sure you will be shocked! Remember to be gentle with yourself. You are beautiful just the way you are. Honor your body and spirit on a daily basis!

I’ve been trying to lose weight recently. I’ve been really healthy, drinking a lot of water, eating healthy and doing excercise, but my weight never goes down it just stays the same. So i considered weight loss pills. Is it true that after you stop taking them you’ll put on weight like crazy? Are they bad for you? I just want to know if its true that you gain weight when you stop taking them, as i dont want to be taking them for the rest of my life. Any info on this would be great. Thanks!

Why Am I Unhealthy?

When we think about health do we always associate it with the TV and Newspaper advertising that drops like an avalanche on us by the drug companies. Can these wonder pills actually be good for us.

The problem is for much of the time it’s how wonderful it is for their bank balance. I’m not saying for one second that we are being conned, but it makes you wonder why they are playing on our fear of being unhealthy.

The biggest problem we have these days is our lifestyle. OK I’m not getting on my soapbox so don’t worry, but the way we live is by far the biggest contributor to our general state of health.

This wonderful machine that we call our body can basically cure and maintain itself if we let it!!! But how can it do this?

We need to look at basics first so let’s look at the control room behind us which we know as the brain. What is the brain?

The brain as we know is a large muscle mass which resides in our head…no surprises there then!!! The biggest part of the brain is the cerebrum. The cerebrum makes up most of the brains weight. This is the thinking part of the brain and it controls our voluntary muscles, the ones that move when we want them to.

Also in this part of our brain are our short and long term memory systems. Other parts of the brain control our involuntary actions such as breathing and tell our heart to beat etc. So we can see that there are voluntary and involuntary actions taking place. We have a left-brain and right-brain. The left brain is our logical mind – the one that says: “Don’t touch the fire or you’ll get burned”, the right brain is the creative mind or the subconscious.

Here’s what’s next.

If we disregard the conscious part of us for now and examine the subconscious part, we can see why our health can be affected.

We needn’t worry about the conscious bit, but we do need to look at the subconscious part. The bit which is creative and here’s why.

“What are you on about, talk a bit of sense man!”

Ok hold your horses, I haven’t completely lost it…yet. We have to think a little bit outside the box to make sense of this. Think of it as caravan behind a tow car if you like. It’s connected but detachable, we know it’s there and connected but is not really a part of us, only an extension.

Labels are sometimes necessary to make us comfortable about something, so let’s call it our soul if you like.

I suppose if we must put a label on it the most common one would be our soul. That vital life spark that guides us day by day.

Good point, so let’s discuss this.

Knowing that our soul has all the answers could make our life so much easier wouldn’t it, because if we knew it was going to happen, instead of getting clobbered after it happened we could actually prevent it.

“Just wait one cotton picking minute here. If it has all the answers, then why don’t I get a heads up BEFORE the grief happens, it would just make life so much easier.”

“Hang on, if it knows all the answers then why the heck doesn’t it just tell us what to do BEFORE it happens!!! This would save us so much grief.”

Good point, the problem is that our soul element doesn’t communicate in the same language that we do, how can it, as language is a man made thing. If we accept my rantings for a moment, then this soul thing needs an interpreter to communicate with our brain with a language that both parties understand.

The language used isn’t what’s important but the way it’s communicated, is. The message comes in a form that is way beyond our mortal comprehension and understanding, however the good news is that we have a built in interpreter that can input this message in a way that we can understand, and we receive these messages in the form of a feeling or knowing.

“Right, so what you’re actually saying is that our soul knows absolutely everything, can tell us how to heal ourselves and give us a heads up on the next lot of lottery results.

“So are you telling me that our soul has all the answers, and can communicate with us and let us do anything we want, even give the next lottery results.”

“Why then if this is true have I never got enough money, and why is my health below par all the time.”

The simple answer is we hear but we don’t listen. We are deaf to what we are being told and because of this constant fear we contract an illness or disease or dis-ease. In other words we are not at ease with ourselves.

Simple, it’s because we hear but we don’t listen!, and because of this we can suffer with a disease or dis-ease i.e. we are not balanced and therefore our health suffers. We haven’t quite learnt how to interpret these messages into something meaningful.

“So you’re saying that this is something we must develop, but how?”

That my friend is a whole different discussion, and that’s why I created my newsletter, so that we can work it out together.

Until then just remember…

Why Am I Unhealthy?

Health. A small word but a very BIG meaning. Health and all it represents can sometimes be a drug in itself. Every day we are bombarded by the pharmaceutical companies telling us how wonderful their products are for us.

The problem is for much of the time it’s how wonderful it is for their bank balance. I’m not saying for one second that we are being conned, but it makes you wonder why they are playing on our fear of being unhealthy.

We worry ourselves into a state of disrepair, much in the same way as our cars can break down if the correct maintenance is not given. Our mechanic as it where, could be merely a change in the way we think about our health, but how can we do this. Is there an actual technique we can use to change our viewpoint, let’s see.

Examining the control centre within us is always a good place to start, so let’s take a look at how this marvellous computer called our brain actually functions.

We need to look at basics first so let’s look at the control room behind us which we know as the brain. What is the brain?

Perhaps you hadn’t realised just how many different actions actually take place here. If we also consider that there is a right brain and a left brain, then we can see how complex our brains are. Just for clarity’s sake, the right brain controls our logical minds and the left controls our creative side.

“Ok, call the men in white coats, time to leave I think.”

“Right get me out of here, now he’s completely lost it!!!!!”

Bear with me because now it gets interesting. This extra something is a bit of an enigma because it can only be described as a feeling, that certain something that doesn’t quite reside within our physical body but seems to sit just outside, as if it were a spectator watching us from a distance but at the same time within us. It’s that certain part of us that seems to just know.

“I’m with you so far, but this article is all about health, so where does it fit in to your point.”

Reasonable question, let’s look at it.

Knowing that our soul has all the answers could make our life so much easier wouldn’t it, because if we knew it was going to happen, instead of getting clobbered after it happened we could actually prevent it.

“So what’s the point of that?”

Glad you mentioned it. OK, we need to understand the communication system in a bit more detail before we go any further. Remember I said that our soul element sits outside us as if it were a spectator. Well this spectator could be talking to us in a language that isn’t English for instance.

Good point, the problem is that our soul element doesn’t communicate in the same language that we do, how can it, as language is a man made thing. If we accept my rantings for a moment, then this soul thing needs an interpreter to communicate with our brain with a language that both parties understand.

“OK clever clogs, go on, tell us how then!”

“Come on this can’t be right. If what your saying is true then my soul can give me the next lottery numbers and I could be a millionaire by this time next week.”

YEP, WHY NOT.

“There must be another explanation, because if this were true I would always have enough cash and my health would always be perfect, wouldn’t it.?”

Very simple answer, it’s because we hear but we don’t listen half the time. We run around with no direction and because of this we can contract an illness or disease, or to put it another way dis-ease.

Simple, it’s because we hear but we don’t listen!, and because of this we can suffer with a disease or dis-ease i.e. we are not balanced and therefore our health suffers. We haven’t quite learnt how to interpret these messages into something meaningful.

The Problem With Health.

When we think about health do we always associate it with the TV and Newspaper advertising that drops like an avalanche on us by the drug companies. Can these wonder pills actually be good for us.

Are we just subsidising their bank balances half the time, or is it time to stop worrying about what we take, or for that matter what we don’t take. Our fear seems to be the major motivator for these companies.

The biggest problem we have these days is our lifestyle. OK I’m not getting on my soapbox so don’t worry, but the way we live is by far the biggest contributor to our general state of health.

Let’s first look at how we actual work, and examine the engine room that drives our thinking. This of course is our brain, but what does it actually do?.

Controlling all our functions is this marvel that we call the brain. The brain is made up of several parts, the largest and heaviest being the cerebrum. Thinking processes are controlled here as well as the control of our voluntary muscles, these are the muscles that move under a thinking influence, i.e. kicking a ball. Breathing, heartbeat etc., are also controlled from here and these are known as involuntary actions. Memory, both long and short term also squeezes into this part of the brain.

The brain as we know is a large muscle mass which resides in our head…no surprises there then!!! The biggest part of the brain is the cerebrum. The cerebrum makes up most of the brains weight. This is the thinking part of the brain and it controls our voluntary muscles, the ones that move when we want them to.

“Fair enough John, thanks for the biology lesson, now what?”

Well let’s see.

The conscious aspect of us isn’t something that we need to consider at this point only the subconscious element, for a very good reason.

We needn’t worry about the conscious bit, but we do need to look at the subconscious part. The bit which is creative and here’s why.

“What are you on about, talk a bit of sense man!”

Just stay with me for a second because it will become clear. This extra element isn’t something tangible, but more of a feeling, something we feel is part of us but which seems to be connected like a third party spectator looking in from a distance. This extra something just knows for some reason.

“All very interesting, but what the heck has this got to do with our health?”

Knowing that our soul has all the answers could make our life so much easier wouldn’t it, because if we knew it was going to happen, instead of getting clobbered after it happened we could actually prevent it.

We need to consider our soul element as all knowing, i.e. it knows all the answers.

Glad you mentioned it. OK, we need to understand the communication system in a bit more detail before we go any further. Remember I said that our soul element sits outside us as if it were a spectator. Well this spectator could be talking to us in a language that isn’t English for instance.

“Right, so what exactly are you saying, are you saying that we don’t have the ability to understand what’s being said.?”

“OK clever clogs, go on, tell us how then!”

YOU BET IT CAN

The simple answer is we hear but we don’t listen. We are deaf to what we are being told and because of this constant fear we contract an illness or disease or dis-ease. In other words we are not at ease with ourselves.

Our interpretation skills haven’t quite developed to a point that we can learn from these messages.

“So you’re saying that this is something we must develop, but how?”

This wonderful machine that we call our body can basically cure and maintain itself if we let it!!! But how can it do this?

The brain is made up of a large tissue mass located not surprisingly in our craniums. The cerebrum is the largest part and is the heaviest part of the brain. It’s here that the thinking processes take place and it controls all our voluntary muscles, you know the ones that move when we want them to move, for instance if we wanted to kick a ball etc. Our short term memory is also located here. Housed here is also our involuntary control system which regulates breathing and heartbeat etc.

Another thing to consider is that there is a left brain and a right brain. The left brain is our thinking side and decides on a course of action, the left brain is our creative side which helps with artistic talents.

There is an element of us which doesn’t reside in the brain. Now you notice I used the word us as in you and me. Something which is intangible, indescribable and which defies having a name.

“Right get me out of here, now he’s completely lost it!!!!!”

Labelling something with a recognised word can sometimes help us become comfortable with it. So let’s give it a name that we all recognise. Let’s call it our soul.

“I’m with you so far, but this article is all about health, so where does it fit in to your point.”

“All very interesting, but what the heck has this got to do with our health?”

Ok I was just getting to this.
